Mount Waverley Football & Netball Club is competing in the
Southern Football League (SFL Vic) in Division 2 for the 2017 season.

Premiers in 1978, 1998 & 2016, the Mountain Lions or Mounters have a proud history playing suburban Australian Rules football. The club has grown in stature over the past few seasons and was a Division 3 powerhouse in the Southern Football League.

Since the reemergence of the Mount Waverley Mountain Lions:

The SENIORS have competed in 8 Grandfinals (as recent as 2016).
They have not missed a finals series from 2006 - 2015.
PREMIERSHIPS: 2016
GRAND FINALS: 2007, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2014, 2015, 2016

The RESERVES have competed in 5 Grandfinals, winning 3 in a row (2010-2012) & 2016.

The THIRDS have competed in 3 Grandfinals (last one in 2013) and only missed 3 finals series since the Thirds Competition inception in 2007, 2015 & 2016 (did not compete in 2015).

We have a NETBALL team as well who competes in the SFL Netball League every Saturday.
In 2015, they finished MINOR PREMIERS and finished Runners-Up in the Grandfinal.
In 2016, finished 2nd on the ladder but WON THE PREMIERSHIP!
Our Coaching Staff is led by Nick Smith, he is an accomplished player and coach who has won multiple Premierships and played in many top level leagues such as:

Our Home Ground is at Mayfield Reserve (Lewton Road, Mount Waverley) and our matches start from 12:00pm (Reserves) & 2:00pm (Seniors).
