CHARITIES & COMMUNITY GROUPS

Mount Waverley Football Club is a local community football club.

We operate as a non-profit organisation.

We understand the obstacles other non-profit organisations face.

We like to help where we can as well.

HANDS OFF FOUNDATION

Objective is to provide a three staged approach to assisting victims, educational programs from Prep to Year 12 within schools and assist in the employment of additional counsellors.

Stage 1:
Provide financial assistance to victims in the form of vouchers to present to authorised health practitioners for services, gap payments for non bulk billing doctors, prescriptions, natural remedies as required and natural therapies offered by registered therapists within a governing body.

Exercise equipment to assist with anger management within the victims family and support network.
Commence strategies for improving public profile and raising awareness of the impact of sexual violence.

Stage 2:
Working towards the inclusion of CASA's program into schools to educate both genders in primary and secondary with what is age appropriate education.

Stage 3:
Raising additional ongoing funds to ensure the longevity of employing additional counsellors. Ensuring that both victims and their families have immediate access to counsellors. We would envisage that we would require funds for ongoing staff costs to be a minimum of 3 years before employment would commence. This would allow job security for counsellors and consistency for clients.
